Neel Preet: First of all, Big Congratulations to you Miss Ruchi on your latest book, FINANCIAL REGULATIONS well, you’ve achieved something remarkably huge at a young age! So, what’re your expectations from this book of yours? Please share your experience about this book.
Ruchi Prabhu: Thankyou Neel for the best wishes, this book will give a detailed explanation on the financial regulatory bodies and their work in regards to Indian Economy. This book will help the professionals to know the in-depth cycle of the financial system and the regulatory bodies in case of financial crises just the way we are dealing with right now.
Neel Preet: I’ve read your book and I genuinely feel that it’s a brilliant guide on the subject of “Finance” & “Monetary Policies” so my next question to you is that what inspired you to work on this subject? What was the impetus behind this work of yours?
Ruchi Prabhu: Good Question Neel, we now experience that the Time seems to have speed-ed up in the world of finance. This period has witnessed major developments in the nature and intensity of financial regulations and markets, as well as repeated cycles of regulatory reform and development, often linked to crisis conditions. The recent financial crisis has led to unparalleled interest in financial regulation from policymakers, economists, legal practitioners, and the academic community, and has prompted large-scale regulatory reform. So I decided to write about the Financial Regulation to create awareness among the people.
Neel Preet: You have given a very catchy title to your book, which is undoubtedly very relatable to your book too; So, what made you go for this particular title for your book?
Ruchi Prabhu: Hmm, I always believe that, the title of the book is the first thing which attracts the buyers and so I always make sure to give title a perfect title to my book which will help the buyers to know about the book just by a glance they don’t need to invest their time in reading the summary or the prologue to buy my book.
Neel Preet: While reading your book, I sensed that you were trying to make the readers aware with various financial institutions and monetary policies. So, now could you please discuss the importance of these things with your readers.
Ruchi Prabhu: Fundamentally, monetary policy can influence the price level—the rate of inflation, the aggregate price level in an economy. And it is appropriate to provide a more expansionary monetary policy when there’s evidence that inflation is falling or will fall below the desirable level. Coming towards the financial institutions then they are backbone of the economy they help to funnel money to the most successful businesses, which allows them to grow faster and supply even more of the desirable goods and services. Financial Institutions and Monetary Policy greatly contribute to the efficient allocation of economic resources.
Neel Preet: These days we see a lot of writers are coming out with Poetry or Novel but you came with a completely different approach, which I believe is a very bold step! So, my next question to you is that why did you choose this subject matter to write?
Ruchi Prabhu: I am keen interested about the financial system, regulations, policies and their work to make our Indian Economy Stronger So I decided to share my knowledge to everyone in form of this book.
Neel Preet: Your book had some really strong and valid points, which everyone should be aware of irrespective of their fields; Thus I would like you to explain the overall purpose of your book!
Ruchi Prabhu: My overall purpose of the book is just to create awareness.
Neel Preet: Your writing seemed to be really impeccable and with all of your ‘Previous Books’ you’ve shown that you can write really well in every genre, which I really appreciate. Therefore, I want you to tell us about some of those writers, who had inspired you and whom you follow!
Ruchi Prabhu: Good observation Neel, I follow many authors and you are one of them too. I don’t think anyone has inspired me. But the story line of ‘Only you understood my dreams” by Author Shashi Bushan inspired me.
Neel Preet: Is there any message which you would like to convey to your readers? Or any piece of advice, which you would like to give to the readers out there!
Ruchi Prabhu: My advice to readers is, read what interests you, stop reading that book if it puts you to sleep or you just don’t like it.
Neel Preet: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects.
Ruchi Prabhu: Yes, my next book is a Novel titled “Things My Father Said” This book will ponder the light on the father son relationship and the roller coaster ride of the generation gap.
Neel Preet: Thank you so much for answering all my questions. All the very best to you for future and your book too!
